It seems Liberals are not the only ones in Alberta sick of fighting against their brand instead of with it.I had heard rumours that some things were up on the Alberta Green front, but this is not what I had heard. According to this story at The Weekly Albertan (which I've never heard of, and for which I cannot vouch) the Alberta Green party came within a single vote of changing their name to the Progress Party.Ironically, some people threatened to leave the Greens for the Liberals if the Greens changed their name. I wonder if these people care as much about the name of their destination as the name of their departure point, because the ALP is looking at a name change in the coming year, too.
