Happy Canada Day

I've been somewhat absent from the blogosphere, recently. I'm reading, I'm just not finding anything that makes me want to write. That might be because I've drastically reduced the amount of news I'm consuming. Non-fiction books are my new time-waster.I am a happier, healthier person for it.I've also been enamoured for a couple of days with my latest toy, an XBox 360. This is my last summer of relative freedom, probably ever. So I decided to spend it doing something I love: Playing role playing games. Call me a geek if you will, but the dollar per hour of entertainment ratio I get out of "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" is going to absolutely crush anything you do for fun. :)Also, here's a shout-out to Microsoft, who actually got something right. I called their support line to get help when the game wasn't running properly. An almost enjoyable voice-activated system, followed by a very short wait, and a 3 minute phone call with a polite and extremely helpful guy, and bam. I'm gaming again. See what a good mood I'm in? I'm complimenting Microsoft.Anyway, I thought I'd just stop in to wish everyone a very happy Canada day. I've already taken Liam to the petting zoo, the horsie rides, and the face-painting. I sincerely hope your Canada Day is half as good as mine has been thus far, but I doubt it. :)Take a minute today and think about what makes Canada great. If you come up with an answer better than "Canadians," let me know.
