Gauntlet.ca is for Fair Voting

Of 907,741 votes cast in the last provincial election, 389,939 votes accomplished nothing. That's 43%. If we dealt with people's Alberta Income Taxes the way we deal with people's votes, we'd be putting $3,146,740,000 down a toilet every year.

Two Notes

To the Edmonton Journal: Yes. Precisely. Thank you for saying so, and saving me the time.To David Swann: Get in touch. A political party with democratic reform in Alberta as one of its founding principles is something I would be very interested in participating in.

Political Winds Shifting in Alberta

Last post, I asked David Swann to get in touch. He was kind enough to send me an e-mail today (thanks, David) with a letter that he has sent to the media. I trust he doesn't mind my sharing it. I'll talk a little more about this later, but I wanted to share this with you and give you something to think about. What do you think?

Daveberta Likes Scratch.

I was happy to read today that Daveberta has decided that starting from scratch is the right thing to do for the opposition in Alberta.

Ingredients for Starting from Scratch

David Swann has suggested that we need to start from scratch and create a new political party in Alberta. I agree. And I'm not alone.
